Carol L. Hoffman is a trusts and estates attorney. She provides legal services and acts as a trustee and executor for family trusts and estates.
Carol L. Hoffman graduated with honors from the University of California at Berkeley with an undergraduate business degree in 1982. She received her law degree from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1985. In 2006, she earned a Master of Laws in Taxation with honors from Golden Gate University.
Carol has been practicing as a trust and estates attorney for ten years. She prepares estate plans for individuals and couples and represents trustees, executors, and beneficiaries in trust and estate administration matters. She enjoys the personal nature of her work and appreciates the trust and confidence her clients place in her. She prides herself on being a good and nonjudgmental listener and on working conscientiously to effect her clients’ goals.
Before practicing trusts and estates law, she worked as a transactional business lawyer with major law firms, gaining experience in real estate, corporate and securities law.
Carol also serves as a private trustee, executor, and conservator in multiple matters. Because of that experience, she brings practical knowledge of the challenges facing her clients when she is counseling them on estate planning or estate or trust administration matters.

Ms. Hoffman has been serving on the Planned Giving Committee of the East Bay Regional Parks Foundation since 2008. She is often a featured speaker at the East Bay Regional Parks Foundations’ free estate planning workshops.
